Reflection Essay 2
My process of writing this essay was very interesting. The first thing I did was a reading log about the article we liked, there were many options but I chose the, "What does "the scarecrow" tell us about Chipotle?" article. Thanks to the reading log, I had the opportunity to understand better this article and to organize my ideas. I printed out the article and started to make comments about what I like or dislike, whether I agree or not and where Pathos, Ethos and Logos were situated. After a week or so, we did a test about the article we chose and It was very helpful because I organized the structure of my essay and also the works cited. Also my group and I had to choose another source, so we could talk about it in our essay, we chose an article called, " Behind the burrito: 5 things Chipotle's Ads don't tell you," by Danna Liebelson. While I was writing my essay I passed through some difficulties, sometimes I did not know what else to talk about, and I was confused whether I was doing it correctly or not. The last two parts of this process were the feedback my professor gave me and the peer review, which was really helpful as well because now I can fix what I did wrong and also add more ideas.
What my peer liked about my essay was the length, and also how I explained all the points.I am happy he said that because sometimes I feel that sometime I do not explain the points in a way others can understand. My peer underlined the thesis statement on my essay and also where were Pathos, logos and ethos. I learned a lot writing this essay, thanks to all the mistakes I made now I will try to not make them again for the next essay. Reading another person's paper also helps me to get more ideas of what else I can mention on my essay and also to see if I am missing something. I plann to to make a lot of changes, and also I want to add more ideas in order to make my essay more explicit. I faced a lot of challenges writing this essay, sometimes I did not know what to say, or whether I was doing it correctly, but I asked my professor and she helped me a lot.
