Fast Food
I will do everything to avoid fast food. Two years ago I loved fast food, it was the best. Hamburgers, hot-dogs, cake, soda, burritos, pizza. I could eat all of this, all day, every day because it is delicious, I can not deny it. Over the time I started to feel tired, sleepy, wanting to do nothing. I asked myself, Why is this happening?, Is it the food? Does my body really need this food that has no nutrients and just make me gain weight?. Well, I decided to make a change in my life. I started to eat healthier, it was difficult by the way because I was used to eat fast food every day. When I made that decision, my life changed, I started feeling better, with a lot of energy, also I started working out. So since then, I do not eat fast food anymore. The only time, I can possibly eat fast food is when I hang out with my friends,we usually try a lot of different restaurants, but talking about fast food restaurants, usually we like to go to "Chipotle", the food is delisious there, and when I go, I usually try to order the "healthiest" food they could offer.
What does "The scarecrow" tell us about Chipotle?
By Elizabeth Weiss
What the article, "What does "The scarecrow" tell us about Chipotle?" is trying to say is that, Chipotle is a "healthy" fast food restaurant, from where all their food is perfect and it is not like the rest of the restaurants. There is a huge controversy between the Chipotle's commercial and what the Chipotle's director says. According to the "Chipotle commercial," the meat we can possibly eat from other restaurants can be not as healthy as the ones Chipotle sells, the scarecrow saw how the chicken was injected green fluid by machines, and how the cow was treated unfairly, so the scarecrow decides to "cultivate a better world",but in this commercial the scarecrow is just showing how he starts to harvest the vegetables, and at the end, he sells a veggie taco. Now, what Chipotle's director is arguing is that their meat is free from antibiotics, and they just buy their meat from conventional suppliers, but, does the commercial show how Chipotle buys or uses its meat?, no, the commercial does not show anything about how Chipotle's meat is, or where it comes from, it just shows how most of the farmers raise their animals in a not properly way.
This article is effective for people who likes to eat healthier, having the idea that their meat and their vegetables are fresh and healthy. It would be ineffective for people who just do not like to eat fast food or are not interested in eating meat or vegetables from fast food restaurants.
